In 2006, May's star continued to rise and shine on the international stage with a dual three month engagement in Dubai, UAE at both the world renowned Mina A' Salam Hotel and The Jumeirah Beach Club Resort and Spa . Upon her triumphant return to the U.S., May provided a show-stopping performance for the ”Divas Salute The Cotton Club” at Sam’s Town in Shreveport, LA. Sharing the stage with the daughter of the late, great Ray Charles, May put on a show that earned her a standing ovation from the sold-out audience. In 2008 May Palmer continues to be an in demand singer/performer in both the public and private sectors.
